Cream 2048
Slide and merge matching tiles on a warm cream board to reach 2048. Swipe on mobile or use the arrow keys.
About this game
Cream 2048 is a calm, cream-toned version of the classic 2048 number puzzle. You slide all the tiles on the board in one direction. When two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one and the value doubles. After every move a new tile appears; the goal is to reach the 2048 tile.
The difficulty is keeping the board from filling up. If tiles get stuck so that nothing can merge, the game ends. So before each slide you have to think about which tiles will end up side by side. After reaching 2048 you can keep going for a higher score. If you make a wrong move, Z undoes your last move; your game and best score are saved automatically.
Tips
- Keep your biggest tile in a corner and do not leave that corner.
- Slide in three directions as much as you can and use the fourth only when forced.
- Line small numbers up next to larger ones to build a merge chain.
- Do not let the board get messy; check the number of empty squares on each move.
You play with the arrow keys or WASD on a computer, or by swiping in any direction on a phone. It suits a few moves in a short break or deep planning in a long session. It will feel very familiar to fans of the genre, and a newcomer can learn the rule in a minute.
