About this game

Digger is a fast-paced retro mining game. You guide your miner straight down through procedurally generated underground layers, breaking through dirt and stone in search of gold. Watch out for falling boulders as you carve your way deeper: one hit and it is game over. It is simple to pick up and tough to master, with a charming pixel-art sunset backdrop and an endless vertical mine to explore.

You dig through the ground by moving in any direction. You avoid getting crushed by falling rocks and collect gold coins along the way. The deeper you dig, the higher your score. When you are caught by a falling rock, the run ends; press Space to restart and try to beat your best depth.

Tips: Do not stand under columns where rocks will fall. Make short side detours for gold coins, but keep an eye on the rocks. Keep digging down steadily, because depth sets your score. A falling rock ends the run, so look above you before every move.

You use the arrow keys, WASD or ZQSD to move and dig up, down, left and right. After game over, Space restarts.
