About this game

Glob.io is a fast, colorful 3D take on the classic blob-eating .io game. You start as a tiny glob in a bright arena full of glowing gems, and you eat them to grow. Once you are clearly bigger than another glob, you roll over it to swallow it whole. But watch your back, because anyone bigger than you can do the same.

You can split in two to lunge at prey, eject mass to feed teammates or bait rivals and use the green spiky viruses wisely: they pop big globs into pieces, and if you feed one seven times it shoots a new virus straight at your enemy.

There are two modes: Free for all (grow as big as you can and climb the leaderboard) and Teams (Blue vs Red, with the first team to 15 eliminations or the higher score when the clock runs out winning). You grab power-ups like Invisibility, Speed, Shield and Magnet to turn the fight around.

Tips: Touch globs that are clearly smaller than you to swallow them, and run from bigger ones. Split to catch prey, and eject mass to feed viruses or teammates. Big globs pop on green viruses, so account for that. In Teams mode, eliminate red globs together with your team.

The camera zooms out as you grow. Smart bots hunt, flee, split and even shoot viruses, so every match is full. The shop has skins such as Galaxy, Lava, Gold and Rainbow, colored names, particle trails and arena themes. On desktop you steer with the mouse, split with Space, hold W to eject mass, zoom with the mouse wheel and open the menu with Esc. On mobile you touch and drag to steer, tap SPLIT to split and play in landscape for the best view.

How to play

Eat the glowing gems to grow. If you are clearly bigger than another glob, touch it to swallow it; bigger globs can swallow you too, so run from them. Split to catch smaller globs and eject mass to feed viruses or teammates. Big globs pop on green viruses; feed a virus 7 times to shoot it at someone. In Teams mode, eliminate red globs with your team and grab power-ups. Spend your coins in the Shop.

Desktop: move the mouse to steer, Space to split, hold W to eject mass, mouse wheel to zoom, Esc for the menu.

Mobile: touch and drag to steer, tap SPLIT to split, hold W to eject mass. Play in landscape for the best view.
