About this game

Helix Snake is a colorful, fast-paced arcade runner where you steer a snake down an endless twisting tube. You eat bouncy candy to grow longer, then dive through the ring blocks, but every block has a number and it eats away your length. Always aim for the lowest number to keep your snake long, because if your length hits zero the run is over.

The numbers climb from single digits to thousands and even millions the further you go. You dodge red spikes, spinning bars and buzz saws, grab turbo pads to smash through whole rings for free, chain candy for a FEVER boost and collect gems to unlock new snake skins and funny hats in the shop. You run through five worlds: Candy, Beach, Autumn, Winter and Night, with falling leaves, snow, stars and speed lines.

Tips: In every ring pick the block with the lowest number, since a high number eats your snake. Collect candy so you have enough length before you reach the blocks. A turbo pad smashes a ring at no cost, so go for it when you see one. The speed boost covers more distance and earns more gems.

On desktop you steer by holding the left mouse button and dragging, or with A and D or the Left and Right Arrow keys; the right mouse button or W / Up Arrow is the speed boost. On mobile and tablet you slide a finger to steer and double tap or touch with a second finger to boost.

How to play

Eat the candy to make your snake longer. Every ring is made of blocks with numbers on them. When you hit a block, your snake chews through it and loses that much length - so always aim for the LOWEST number! If your length hits zero, the run is over. Avoid spikes, spinning bars and saws, grab turbo pads to smash through rings for free, and collect gems to buy new skins and hats. Use the speed boost to cover more distance and earn more gems.
