LongCat
Slide your long cat to fill every tile. No backtracking, and if you get stuck the level restarts. Easy to play!
About this game
LongCat is a sliding puzzle that looks calm but makes you think. You slide the cat to fill every empty square on the board. The cat slides in a straight line until it hits a wall or its own tail and can never cross squares it has already covered. So every move affects the next, and one wrong slide can leave you with no way forward.
Every level is different and the boards grow as you go. If you are stuck, you can watch a short video to undo your last move or skip a level you cannot beat. Finishing a level earns gems, which a lucky multiplier can boost. With gems you buy new cat colors in the shop and preview each one live while the cat plays.
Tips
- Look at the whole board before you start and think about which corners the cat could get stuck in.
- Try filling narrow corridors and corners first; the wide area in the middle can wait.
- If a move would leave the cat with nowhere to go, do not use that direction; try a different starting point.
- When you get stuck, the level restarts; that is not a penalty, just a fresh attempt.
On a phone you swipe up, down, left or right with one finger; on a computer you use the arrow keys or WASD, and R restarts the level. It is ideal in short attempts for clearing your head.
How to play
Slide the cat to fill every empty tile on the board. The cat slides in a straight line until it hits a wall or its own body. You can't walk over tiles you've already filled. Fill the whole board to complete the level. If no move is left, the level restarts, or you can watch a video to undo your last move.
