Loot gold, break treasure chests and swing your sword in a fast pirate battle royale. Grow stronger, dodge the closing poison gas and be the last pirate standing on the island.
About this game
Plunder.io is a free, fast-paced pirate battle royale where only one captain survives. You land on a tropical island with a dozen rival pirates, a cutlass in hand and treasure scattered everywhere. Collect gold coins, smash treasure chests and grow bigger and tougher with every piece of loot.
Fighting is simple and satisfying. You swing your sword to hit everything in front of you, knock rivals back and send their gold flying across the sand. Time a dash to lunge at an enemy and land a powerful critical strike. As you grow, your weapon upgrades from a cutlass to a silver saber, a mighty battle axe and finally a giant anchor.
But the island is shrinking. A poison gas closes in from the edges and pushes everyone toward the center, forcing fights and punishing the careless. Hide under the palm trees, grab gold from fallen pirates, heal with chests and coins and stay inside the safe zone while the circle gets smaller. The last pirate alive wins the round.
Rounds are short and you can jump in at any moment, so there is no waiting. If you get knocked out, a new round starts in seconds. You see your placement and count your knockouts, and each time you try to climb the live leaderboard.
Tips
- In the first minutes, gather chests and gold and grow before you get into fights.
- Move to a position near the center before the poison gas closes in.
- Against a pirate bigger than you, use the dash for a single strike only.
- Breaking chests to heal is safer than fighting.
On a computer you move and aim with the mouse, swing the sword with a click or Space and dash with a right click or Shift. On a phone in landscape you use the joystick, the sword button (auto-aims at the nearest rival or chest) and the DASH button. No sign-up is required.
How to play
Collect gold coins and smash treasure chests to grow stronger. Hit rival pirates with your sword to knock out their health and steal their loot. Stay inside the safe zone because the poison gas keeps closing in. Heal by picking up gold and breaking chests, and avoid pirates bigger than you. Be the last pirate standing to win the round.
